President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has hosted Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, head of the Rapid Support Forces, at State House Entebbe for discussions on the ongoing situation in Sudan.
According to the President, Dagalo briefed him on the current developments in Sudan amid the country’s protracted conflict.
Museveni reiterated Uganda’s long-standing position that dialogue and a peaceful political settlement remain the only sustainable solutions to restoring stability in Sudan and the wider region.
The meeting underscores Uganda’s continued diplomatic engagement in regional peace efforts.
